Kenton Sefcik, Dip.Ac, Dip.TCM, RAc

Kenton’s passion for Chinese culture began at age of 14 when he began training in Kung-Fu – martial arts still being a sincere interest to this day. In 2007, he graduated from the Alberta College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with a diploma in Acupuncture and diploma in TCM. Kenton holds the license of Registered Acupuncturist in both Alberta and Nova Scotia, Canada. He serves on the board of the Nova Scotia Association of Acupuncturists as president and digital communications liaison.

Kenton has taught for two Chinese medicine colleges, was a guest lecturer at Acadia University, and has been requested for seminars by acupuncture associations and Naturopathic Doctor conferences across Canada. Through social media, podcasts, and online courses, Kenton has reached students and practitioners from around the world – helping them prepare for provincial or state examinations, and gain more confidence in the skills they went to school for.

He believes everyone should feel confident in their knowledge of the foundations of Chinese medicine.

For the last 10 years, Gillian has been pursuing the media side of acupuncture and natural healing through the creation of LIFT Education Academy and Pacific Rim College Online. Through these online education platforms, she has created many popular courses including bootcamps that have become the national gold standard for preparation for TCM registration exams.
