Amber Baker is a Victoria native who grew up in a self-described “meat, potatoes, and canned-corn kind of family” and became passionate about integrative medicine after a family member was diagnosed with an advanced cancer. Amber received her Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) diploma in 2013 and carries the Natural Nutrition Clinical Practitioner (NNCP) designation through the Canadian Association of Natural Nutritional Practitioners (CANNP). Additionally, she completed the Certified Holistic Cancer Practitioner (CHNP) certificate through Edison Institute of Nutrition and studied under Dr. Aviva Romm in the Women’s Integrative & Functional Medicine Professional Training Program. Whole foods consumption and blood sugar balancing are focal points of her practice, where she supports individuals with a variety of gynecological conditions, fertility, prenatal & postpartum care, menopausal support, and hormone-sensitive cancers.
