On the Pre-Study: Mock Exam quiz, I was just going through all the quizzes one last time before boards.
I am just seeking clarification on one question:
“Katie has tied the knot with her handsome prince…. etc. etc. The diagnosis here for this pt is obviously SP Qi Deficiency.
And we were asked using 5 Element Theory to select the correct points.
Now I was assuming for 5-Element Theory when it is Deficiency you Tonify the Mother point (which is one left of the natural/horary) point and if further we would Tonify the Grandfather point (2 left of the natural/horary) point.
The correct answer shown says it is suppose to be SP3 and HT7.
Could you please explain why this is? As this doesn’t seem to follow the rules applied to 5 Element-Theory.
