Deena Class

Hi, Liza and crew!! Just finished Amanda’s lovely external preparations course (yeah – I had to take a bit of a pause- ha!) and never knew that about kelp!! I’m about to make another batch of joint salve which I normally keep really simple with just comfrey and cottonwood bud, but now I’m thinking of adding kelp (my husband and I both have very athletic backgrounds and some old joint injuries becoming arthritic before our time). Is kelp appropriate for a salve and is there anything special to know about infusing the kelp powder in oil? I’m thinking I should probably strain it once through cheesecloth and then again through a coffee filter? Not sure though!

Thanks in advance! 🙂
