Hi. I just watched Amanda’s lesson on fresh calendula oil infusion and have a question. She uses avocado oil that looks very clear to me and she says she is using this oil because it is light. The avocado oil that I am familiar with is unrefined, tends to be cloudy and has a dark green tinge to it. Just wondering what type of avocado oil Amanda is using. The unrefined oil that I use has a strong smell as well – I use it for a face cleanser and think it has lots of skin nourishing properties. However, it would probably be a lot like using olive oil for herb infusions in that it is on the heavy side and would prevent the scent of the herb from coming through.
