Good morning!
I just finished watching the lesson on burdock…we have an abundance of burdock growing on our lower field here on Vancouver Island.
I’m not sure if it is species ‘lappa’, and have a difficult time distinguishing between species online.
Are the roots of all burdock species edible and medicinal?
Can I still harvest the roots here?
It’s terrible stuff on one hand, it causes grief with my sheep and their wool…if we can forage the root then that’s a fantastic use, and I’d be really pleased with that!
Thank you for any insight; Jenelle
