Hi Michele,

Capsule making can be so great. For drying the turmeric I would definitely slice it to make the drying process more efficient, but you can peel it or leave the outer layer on. I’m not sure there really is much difference medicinally, since the curcumin is found plentifully in the interior. One thing to consider is that that leaving the outer layer on may make it more challenging to grind into a powder once it is dried.

In terms of the video that had a brief capsules demonstration, it is in “Herbal Therapeutics | Section 2 | Therapeutic Approaches for Liver Function.” 🙂
