Herbal capsules are great when:
– Someone doesn’t like the taste of the herb
– They need medicine easy to travel with
– They need to take high doses of the herb
– You’re trying to target areas of the body past the stomach (like you mentioned)
– Infections in the upper or lower intestines
Otherwise, you can just take herbal powders without them being encapsulated. Milk thistle and dandelion can easily be incorporated into foods! Just keep in mind, as soon as an herb is powdered, it degrades at a faster speed than when in whole form. So, keep your herbal powders away from heat and light to protect them.
