Hello everyone! It is such a joy to read your stories + connect with each of you through a certain deep knowing we all share.

My name is Amelia, and I live + love in the Okanagan Valley, BC. I was born in the forest of the northern most parts of Alberta, but have spent most of my life in the sunshine of BC.

Like many of you, I too have been enchanted by the plant world since my earliest days. I have a basket full of memories of interactions with wild plants that I hold dear to my heart + make me certain this is where I am supposed to be.

I am a Registered Holistic Nutritionist, and have been in the health industry for almost five years. The magic of food + how it creates and yet holds community is what first drew me in. Now too, I am captivated by the healing authority of the medicinals of our earthly kingdom {most surely of God}. I am passionate about gardening, supporting local growers + makers, developing whole food recipes, and cooking + baking. Beyond this, I love to camp + hike + beach + dance + sing + laugh + eat with my husband and our sweet pup. I also love art + faith, + most especially the spot where they overlap.

Pursuing this program has been a long awaited addition to my career. I am delighted to add this to my offerings for my family + community.
I hope to narrow my focus in on mamas + babes {prenatal, pregnancy, postpartum, + paediatrics} — in anticipation of starting a family of our own in the coming years + leaning in to that to which I feel called.

I was originally set to complete this course in person at the beautiful campus in Victoria, and although my heart longs for the ocean I am equally thrilled to be pursuing this from my cozy home at a slower pace. I would love to connect with others in this program, as that is one of the aspects I was most keen on! Let’s talk soon!
