What a wonderful course. I am loving every minute of my studies.
Re. Skullcap. I have 2 varieties growing in my garden and have enjoyed making an evening tea with Scutellaria lateriflora (combining with lemon balm and holy basil).
Scutellaria baicalensis. I have not found much information on this variety of skullcap. What I do find is the the parts used are the roots. I garden in central British Columbia and am sure this plant will not survive our cold winter.
1. Do you know if there are any medicinal uses for the aerial parts of this plant? If so, can you provide a reference?
