Being that the seed saving course isn’t going yet I have questions about the best time to harvest and when it us too early to harvest.
Coriander tastes so good green so I harvest while it’s still vital but for something like poppy where I both want to eat them and plant them next year is it ready shortly after the petals fall or should I wait? Should I open the pod to dry or leave in pod?
Some of the chamomile went a little past what I think us top quality and so I’ll use for seed to plant more next year. If it still smells good is it still useful. I have enough seed to plant a few acre crop (which is one idea)
Any seed saving basics you can think of would be fully welcomed and appreciated 🙂
