Hello as I’ve been experimenting making herbal tinctures out of plants in my area, I’ve noticed that when using fresh plant material sometime it’s not possible to get the ratio up to 1:2 or 1:3. It doesn’t cover the plant material. I was wondering how it is achieved, is it just by grinding a plant material to a superfine paste or could you remacerate the same menstrum twice? Or is the amount that covers the chopped plant material simply enough to be an effective medicine?
