Hi guys,
Here’s Miguel, reporting live from Burnaby, BC. I’m an internationally licensed ER doc, with a Master’s in Public Health and now just awaiting my Acupunture license in the mail! I’m a graduate of PCU College of Hollistic medicine (now VCC). Originally from the Caribbean, I’m still adapting to the new trends of Canadian life, and attempting to establish myself here. Canada is home for now! Although there are way too may loops in the system to get licensed here as a Western medical doctor, I’ve slightly changed careers and going nature’s way! I wish to incorporate this newly found knowledge of herbs into my healing practice. Of particular interest, I wish to combat cancer which many consider to be a death sentence. Back in my home country, jungle medicine is quite popular and effective. Hence, I hope to merge the best of both worlds and one day offer medical tourism across Canada and the Caribbean. Medicinal mushrooms is one of my top interests and I hope to master their properties in the months to come.
