Hi Everyone.
My name is Cindy and I am so happy to have found the PRC Online Herbalist Program. I am a bit delayed in getting started as we have spent the month of May completing our move to a rural property in Central BC.
A bit about myself. I grew up in Terrace, British Columbia where my parents instilled in me an understanding of gardening, a love for exploring and honoring nature and living off the land. I am a Registered Nurse and my specialty is working with Oncology patients. My 4 children are grown and I have time for online studies. I am a firm believer in Integrative Medicine and am currently in the process of setting up a practice in Functional Nutrition. Plant based medicine and nutrition have been integral parts of my family’s wellness and in my own healing journey. Enrolling in the Herbalist Program with PRC is a natural outcome of this. My new garden is nearly complete and I have made plenty of room for healing herbs, many of which I will study in this program.
I am looking forward to learning together with all of you.
