Thanks Liza. Follow up question about glycerin for internal use for kids…partly, because I’m a parent myself. Partly because my main client base are parents, and if I’m suggesting glycerin to them as a base for making medicine for their children, I want to really understand what it is. Do you have any good articles or references for how glycerin is made, and from what exactly? Google searches tell me that it is typically made from palm oil, or soy, or coconut. Ingredients lists on most glycerin bottles don’t seem to specify which of those they are made from. They seem to simply say: glycerin. I’m thinking for example, if the child has a soy allergy, should they avoid glycerin as a base for their medicine? Thanks so much.
