As a vegan wax alternative, you can use the plant-based candelilla wax. This wax is much harder and will create a firmer product. So, in a recipe, you will only need half as much of the amount that was called for beeswax. If a recipe calls for 1 cup beeswax, you will only use 1/2 cup candelilla wax.

This may take some experimenting with, depending on how warm your environment is and what kind of consistency you’d like, you may need to adjust slightly. Remember, you can always add more wax or more oil when you’re in the melting process.

Candelilla wax is smoother and absorbs into the skin more quickly than beeswax. So, if you’re looking for a bit of a creamier recipe, you can add something like shea butter.

For deodorant, I think the best thing to do would be to wait around 5 minutes between applying and putting on clothes. You can also try using shea butter and/or cacao butter as they can be a bit less greasy. Jojoba is another option. I hope this helps!
