Hello, my name is Natalie and I am really enjoying the course so far. I am looking ahead to the medicine making section and want to get some supplies on hand so I have a couple questions.
For a kitchen scale for weighing ingredients do you have a recommendation? I looked online and there are so many options, if you had a suggestion for a brand it might narrow it down for me.
In regards to alcohol for making a weight to volume tincture and for working with aromatics like lemon balm I understand a 95% alcohol is often recommended, but how does one get access to that? I live in a smaller community (in Canada) and am reliant on whatever alcholhol I can get from the liquor store which is generally 40% (with the exception of some higher proof rum which is not my preference). Any tips on this would also be appreciated.
