Hello all 🙂 I’m very happy to be here! I’m Lisa and I have been in love with the natural world and wild spaces since I was a small child. This love has continued to grow over my lifetime – on this lovely, rugged, west coast island where the forest, beaches, and mountains have taught me so many lessons.
I work for an environmental non-profit based out of Victoria, a job I am very grateful to have, and one that allows me many opportunities to immerse myself in the contemplation of natural systems and processes. I also studied aromatherapy a few years ago and this learning deepened my feeling of connection with plants. I love to make salves and balms to share with family and friends.
My daughter and I hope to start our own herb farm one day (right now we have a few lovelies growing in our tiny yard!) So when I saw this program at Pacific Rim I knew it was the next step in my learning journey.
