Hi Nathalie,

1. This is a great question. The answer does heavily depend on what oil, as some are more potent than other. It also depends on whether the skin is covered and whether the skin is warm (pores opened more). In general though, one could be massaged with safe essential oils for 30 minutes to 1 hour of a 2% dilution of carrier oil. Then giving the person up to 3 days break (again depending on the oil) since some essential oils can stay in the blood stream for up to 72 hours. This would be good to do some research on for specific essential oils that you use.
2. If you keep your mixed oil in a cool dark and dry place, and do not open the bottle too frequently then this oil could last for a year. The more frequently the bottle is opened or if it is in a location where the base oil may go rancid, then this reduces the amount of time significantly. One of the best ways to tell whether it is no longer useful is the smell. You will be able to tell whether the base oil is rancid under the E.O. scent. Also if your E.O. scent strength is not as strong, this will be an indicator that you need to replace it or add more E.O.
3. I will take a look into this and get back to you!

Warmly,
Benna
