Hi,
I want to make a salve for diaper rash on a 2.5 year old girl. Amanda mentioned a calendula salve works really well for that. I was wondering what else I could add to the salve that would be safe for children. I am thinking oat oil? chamomile oil? I am pretty sure there is some fungal and bacterial infection going on. It’s a pretty bad diaper rash. She has been seeing Dr, Nurse practitioners etc, tried all sorts of prescription creams including cortisone cream on/off with little to no effect. I know calendula as antifungal and antibacterial properties, but was just wondering if I could increase the potency of the calendula salve.
Thanks !
