I have a question regarding the concept of intuitive eating in relation to an anti-inflammatory diet, which I followed for a semester to address a state of intestinal dysbiosis and associated symptoms. After an initial phase of eliminating pro-inflammatory foods, I have gradually reintroduced certain foods over the past month, experiencing an overall improvement in my well-being. However, I still need to strictly avoid casein due to a secondary intolerance identified through Electroacupuncture by Voll (EAV), a reversible condition. According to the recommendations I received, I will be able to reintroduce some dairy products in moderation after three months.
My question is: how can the principles of intuitive eating be applied when dealing with a suspected food allergy or intolerance? Additionally, given the lack of clarity and often conflicting opinions on the most appropriate methods for diagnosing food intolerances, I wonder: is EAV considered a valid test for identifying such conditions?
Thank you for your attention and for any insights you may provide.
