Hi Jennifer,

If this is just to have for tasting and practicing with, that kind of depends. I think that you might have some plants stand out to you, that you are more likely to use or work with more frequently like calendula, chamomile, mint, rose etc that you might want to get more than 100g of but for the most part if it’s just to have the experience of the plant for tasting etc. then 20 -50g will suffice.
Once you start working with the plants then you will know more about which ones you would like to get more of.

I would recommend that you use them within a year or so of purchasing them for freshness, so it’s best not to buy too much before you know whether you’ll actually work with that plant all too often.
