That’s a great question and clearly you have been thinking about things. The short answer is not really. The reasoning is that for the mushroom tinctures we are working to extract the complex polysaccharide chains in the hot water extraction and then the terpenoids in the alcoholic extraction.
Dandelion root’s main active constituents are extracted well in alcohol (which does contain a bit of water in it anyway) but it doesn’t necessarily NEED the hot water/decoction part of the process.
