Hi Shirley,

1. We reached out to Amanda, and she gave us a similar answer as we discussed, she suggests to reach out to local farmers or local bee keeping groups, they are very likely to know someone who does local bees wax. Where do you live? When you say you’ve tried a few places but they only sell the products they have made, was this a bee keeper or farmer? Or someone who makes herbal salves? I think you best bet is to start with beekeeping clubs, which can often be found in cities as well as rurally.

2. There is a oil infusion method that is similar to the warm method, where you place your herb and oil in a blender and blend it until it gets warm, every few hours over the course of 8 to 24 hours. You keep the herb and oil in the blender this whole time and blend it on occasion. This increases the oil extraction rate with some heat (and increased surface area of plant) while decreasing the risk of overheating it.

3. Yes essentially. You can use the cream recipe just as it is really it depends on your preference. If you are going through so much, then maybe you could use the current amount of oil in there anyway to be more deeply nourishing and longer lasting.

With warmth,
Benna
