Hi Tiffany,

Thank you for your patience, and my deep apologies for the delay in response. We have been experiencing some notification issues, which will be promptly sorted.

While I am unable to ascertain which dominant dosha(s) this person might be, it sounds like they may have a blend of all three in dominance. Some people have two equally dominant doshas, and others have a balance of all three. This can make it confusing when you are trying to give them suggestions to re-align their Vikruti with their Prakruti.

I would suggest completing the assessment form, and choosing the one dosha that adds up the most (or, two). Depending on what the person’s goals are, you can focus on 1-3 nutrition tips at a time, focusing on harmonizing one dominant dosha while avoiding aggravating the other one in dominance. Below, this is typically what Sophia (your Head of Programs) suggests when there are signs and symptoms of a couple dominant dosha imbalances:

1. Since Vata tends to fluctuate quickly and can easily go out of balance, it’s wise to address it first. Focus on creating a routine that grounds Vata. This might involve: creating morning and evening routines that are consistent, regular sleep schedules, eating times of day and self-care practices. You may want to include foods that are warm and earthy such as legumes, quinoa, root vegetables and wild rice. These will help nourish Vata without being too aggravating on Pitta or too heavy/oily for Kapha.

2. Once Vata has been stabilized and support you can focus on the Kapha elements. Since Kapha tends to be heavy and stagnant, incorporate activities that increase warmth, movement, and stimulation without aggravating Vata excessively. This will also help invigorate Pitta in a healthy way.

I hope this helps! In general, maintaining a consistent schedule when it comes to sleeping, eating, exercising and resting is key. This person may find that eating consistent meals throughout the day, drinking plenty of water, and maintaining a routine that feels grounding and nourishing will help to solve the digestive concerns.

Warmth,
Riley
