Hi there,
For a few years, I have been selling a few basic herbal items and medicinal plants that I grow at small, independent markets and pop ups, and this year, I am going to be selling at our local farmer’s market during the summer. I have been reading up on the posts here and have found them very helpful in navigating the ins and outs, so thank you for posts and replies! I know that I need to stay away from claims on products and have careful language with customers about claims. Seraphina’s classes about how to navigate have also been really helpful. I am aware of the cosmetic category that topical products fall under and doing cosmetic notification forms, etc. But now that I am finally about to embark on getting out in the world a bit more, and doing so in a way that I hopefully won’t get in trouble and I am seeing small herbal businesses post on social media that they are really afraid about the legislation coming down that is apparently still a go. Can anyone clarify some updated information on this?
