Do you mean in the first half of the guidebook when talking about the Western disease conditions, or the 2nd half? Not all cancers are masses (leukemia and bone, as examples). But yes, masses are often a part of the equation. Within the exam scope, you would more be treating pain, the immune system, and the effects of chemo/radiation with some knowledge on treating masses as well.
So yes, often you are treating masses (with salty herbs to dissolve), but it is certainly looked down upon in the West.
