Hi Riley! Here is my list of questions for this module 🙂

1. What type of magnesium does Dr. Watkins recommend for bowel health/constipation?

2. Dr. Watkins recommends 10-20g more protein in first 14 days of menstrual cycle. Does she mean 10-20g more a day?

3. Re: reducing fermented foods for digestive issues in second half of cycle – wouldn’t eating probiotics (or fermented foods) help with more efficiently digesting? If gas wasn’t an issue – would including these things actually be helpful?

4. In Dr. Watkin’s opinion, which part of the cycle would raspberry leaf be best used? Tissue growing?

5. I’ve heard that people with hypothyroid should avoid iodine. Same with brassicas. Thoughts?

6. Is some level of getting tired around 3/4 in the day normal?

7. Would adding almond milk to coffee be enough fat to slow absorption or do you need something fattier?

8. What does Dr. Watkins feel an acceptable amount of caffeine is a day, or does she strongly recommend avoiding daily use?

9. Are there any problems with long-term habitual l-theanine use in terms of throwing your natural neurotransmitter balance off?

10. Stress management and cognitive health were not discussed much in the cognitive health section. Does Dr. Watkins have any comments no how managing stress can impact cognitive health?

11. I took Pacific Rim’s online class on anemia the other day with Dr. Jaime de Melo, and I asked him if there as any reason why someone should not feel safe taking iron supplements and he said no. Dr. Watkins said giving iron supplements in the wrong situation can be dangerous (which is what I had heard before too). Is it possible to get a little more insight on the difference on these two opinions?

12. What does Dr. Watkins feel the maximum iron level is in bloodwork? (i.e. if we were supplementing a client with iron and they we-retested, what would we not want to see their iron levels rise above)?

13. I’ve heard cherry juice as a common recommendation for gout, but was surprised to see it did not come up in the gout section. Does Dr. Watkins have any thoughts on that?

14. Re: electorate powders – these are often in very high doses. What do you think about adding lower doses to water?

15. Where do cashews and mangoes and avocados fall into the those two oral allergy syndrome categories?

16. Can Dr. Watkins please speak to changes in acne around the menstrual cycle. We often hear about PCOS but can you speak to non PCOS hormonal acne?

Thank you for answering all of these!
