Regarding the iron syrup, I would like to add rosehips as well as elderberries in the iron syrup. Can I make a single decoction using the three herbs (with the dandelion root) rather than 3 different ones?
Also being mindful of my blood sugar levels, if the molasses are entirely taken out (or dropped to a minimum that makes the syrup tasty – say 100/200ml), what would the shelf life be if kept in the fridge?
Since giving birth 4 months ago, I am very low in iron and would like to try this syrup. What dosage and duration you would recommend? I was thinking 2 tbsp a day for 30 to 60 days.
