Hi there..its mentioned in the textbook (& video) for the comfrey infused oil (heat method) that a crock pot can be used. Can all the ingredients be put in the crock directly or do they need to be put in a mason jar and then do the hot water bath method? If the ingredients need to be in mason jar- lid on the mason jar, and off of the crock pot?
