Hi Fara,
It’s safe to take marshmallow root long term to soothe your acid reflux, I would just recommend avoiding drinking it alongside taking any medications, as it may impede absorption.

If you’ve experienced chronic acid reflux, I’d recommend seeing a nutritionist and acupuncturist. Some dietary shifts can really alleviate acid reflux, and always avoid peppermint/spearmint as these herbs will make the reflux worse!
