As far as I know, the other species of burdock that grow in Canada have the same edible and medicinal properties as Arcticum lappa, and therefore, you could include the information from the book in your assignment. For confirmation, I suggest looking at some wild plant ID blogs to hear what other herbalists/wild forages are saying on the topic.
