I have quite a few favourites and it also depends on any specific areas on interest but I really like Medical Herbalism by David Hoffman, The Boreal Herbal by Beverly Gray, The Practice of Traditional Western Herbalism by Matthew Wood, Medicinal Herbs and Herbal Healing for Women by Rosemary Gladstar, The Herbal Medicine Makers Handbook by James Green and many of Dr. Aviva Romm’s books, Heal Thyself and the 12 Healers by Dr. Edward Bach. Look into books written by locals in your area about local plants, if they exist, those are wonderful.
Also of course, the guidebook for this course is a great resource a you move forward. There really are endless amounts of books that are great, it’s hard to sum up.
