hi friends, i decided to try making saint john’s wort oil with the sun method this year, but so far, the oil is not very red at all… the flowers were beautiful, some just coming into bud, some in bud… it’s been about 2 weeks. the first week, i left the oil on a windowsill that gets afternoon sun and the 2nd in the garden. now i’m wondering about putting it in the crockpot on warm like i did last time. any thoughts? thanks, Katy
