Hi there. I am just now getting to the first assignment of taking the 3 photos of plants from my hikes. I noticed a ton of Usnea hanging from the trees and decided to use this discovery for the assignment. I later found out that Usnea is actually a fungus and not a plant and therefore is not in the texts regarding information. Should I just not use Usnea as part of my assignment? Do all the medicinal plants (or fungus) need to be mentioned within this program curriculum?
