Hi Fara,

It seems as though the short answer is no. Sunflower lecithin oil is not as strong or efficient an emulsifier as lanette wax. IF you are only incorporating a very small amount of water into an oil, it might work okay, but for the most part it doesn’t seem to do as good a job.

Sunflower lecithin oil does contain some nice skin softening ingredients, but it’s emulsifying action is not the best.
