When using a 1:3 ratio for tincture (though this question applies to any low ratio), I have found occasionally my solvent (usually alcohol) doesn’t cover my dried herbs – at all. So then I add more alcohol to safely cover herbs but this throws the ratio off. Is there a method to covering herbs AND keeping ratio low? Thank you so much!
