Hello!
I would like to try making the elderberry syrup and would like to medicate it with sage, without adding alcohol. Unfortunately, I did not infuse my sage in honey, but in glycerin. Is it possible to substitute some of the honey in the syrup recipe with sage glycerite, without reducing it’s shelf-life too much? Has anyone tried combining honey and glycerin in a syrup?
