Hello everyone!
My name is Melissa and I live in Ontario on Lake Simcoe and have always wanted to study Holistic Nutrition and Naturopathy but could never make the commitment until last week! When I saw the program from Pacific Rim College and digged a little deeper I realized that it’s perfect for me. I am a mother of a 16 year old, practice yoga and eat quite healthy but know that Im not getting everything that I need. Last year I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Breast Cancer and underwent a bilateral masectomy, reconstruction, 8 rounds of dose dense chemo, currently in HRT and waiting on a hysterectomy as a preventative measure. By joining this program during this time I am hoping to first learn more to help myself and my family and see where the path takes me long term. I look forward to diving into the materials and nourishing my soul with knowledge.
