hi friends, just listening to Seraphina’s black elder berry syrup and she talked about medicating the syrup with elderberry tincture. she mentioned using her local red elderberry blossoms for the tincture. everything i’ve heard is not to use the red elderberries but i have heard the blossoms might be OK to use. obviously, Seraphina uses them! is this accepted knowledge or does it vary from herbalist to herbalist?
