Hi friends, I’m wondering about the differences between a poultice and a plaster in terms of their healing.

For example, I’m dealing with ulnar nerve injury and inflammation and wondering which one might be better to reduce the inflammation. I’m already rubbing Saint Johns Wort oil into my arms and taking St. Johns Wort tincture twice daily. I suppose I could also consider using a plaster with Saint Johns Wort as well as other anti-inflammatory herbs, right? Comfrey root oil? Kelp oil? Or instead of a plaster, should I do a fresh poultice with comfrey root and/or leaf?

Thanks for helping me understand the benefits of each approach (and supporting my healing).

Kindly, Katy
