I actually believe that having small amounts of liquids (water or herbal tea) with meals is beneficial for digestion. I wouldn’t recommend chugging an entire glass of water with your meal, but sipping small amounts is totally okay and will likely support your digestion. I’d also avoid drinking coffee/black tea with meals, as the tannins inhibit protein absorption. But herbal is great!
Drinking hot tea with meals, including herbal digestive teas, is always beneficial!
