- How she plans to use her graduate studies as an opportunity to explore her Northern European heritage in the Nordics upon competing her degree.
- Various ways she is reclaiming family knowledge and tradition lost from her maternal line of herbalists.
- Her current research with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada identifying highly suitable salmonberry habitats to help select locations for reintroducing the practice of Native Berry Gardens.
