Gillian Marsollier (instructor) RAc Gillian Marsollier has been a Registered Acupuncturist in British Columbia since 2001, and an instructor of acupuncture for more than 15 years. After completing a 4-year Masters Program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, she began her teaching career in Newfoundland. There she wrote the bulk of the curriculum for a 3-year acupuncture program and served as the Acupuncture Program Director. Gillian was then transferred to Halifax, where she successfully gained approval by the Board of Education in Nova Scotia for an acupuncture program. In addition to teaching, she practiced at a very successful multi-faceted alternative treatment centre while residing on the East Coast.

In 2008 Gillian went to Nepal to teach acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine modalities at a medical facility. They are still using the modalities to this day to treat the locals from the Himalayan hills.

For the last 10 years, Gillian has been pursuing the media side of acupuncture and natural healing through the creation of LIFT Education Academy and Pacific Rim College Online. Through these online education platforms, she has created many popular courses including bootcamps that have become the national gold standard for preparation for TCM registration exams.

  1. Dana Clarkson B.Sc.N. (Western Diseases) – Dana entered her nursing program on a prestigious scholarship and achieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She was the student-dean liaison for 3 years, and specializes in Critical Care nursing. Her knowledge and high work ethic for this course are truly formidable.
  2. Brittany Montague B.Sc.N (Pharmacology) – Brittany brings her Bachelor of Science in Nursing knowledge to this program, in addition to her extra experience and education in Emergency and Critical Care Assessment. She also has over 5 years of volunteer experience in both hospice and as a medical first aid responder. Brittany’s clear and ‘to the point’ teachings will cut through any confusion you may have in the subject of Pharmacology!
  3. Sara Bjorkquist (165 Illnesses) – Sara is a health care professional with experience in both policy and practice.  She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Ontario universities, and a Diploma in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific Rim College in British Columbia.  After a decade living overseas and working for the United Nations in the health and environmental policy fields, she has now settled in Victoria, BC and is a practicing acupuncturist, researcher, writer, and organic gardener.
  4. Kylie Rodger (Herbal Formulas in 165 TCM Illnesses) – Kylie is a Registered TCM Practitioner and works in the Okanagan in beautiful BC. She also practices Medical Qi Gong and truly one of the sunniest people you will even meet! She is our herbal wizard and the incredible instructor answering your discussion board questions in great detail within herbal bootcamp!
