Almost every gardener has the pesky task of dealing with pests and disease. It can become overwhelming to figure out how to handle the many different issues that arise, and it can turn the joy of gardening into a frustrating chore.
The use of chemical pesticides can seem appealing for getting rid of pests and disease quickly and effectively; however, these chemicals often have harmful side effects for both humans and the environment.
This solution-based webinar will empower participants to learn how to work more effectively with pests and disease in ways that are less harmful to people and the earth. You will be equipped with strategies to create healthy, biodiverse habitats that support beneficials and discourage pests. Participants will be introduced to resources that will help them identify pests and disease, as well as learn different holistic approaches to managing them—hopefully making the act of gardening what it is meant to be: relaxing, uplifting, and healing!
We will finish this webinar with a hands-on demonstration, showcasing how to make a homemade immune-boosting nutrient spray from common plants that can be easily found in many yards or gardens.
