Dr. Jaime de Melo is a Naturopathic Physician and Educator in Victoria, British Columbia. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto and the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Jaime is passionate about education. He thoroughly enjoys answering patient questions and helping to empower them to make positive and healthy decisions. In his general family practice he often treats patients with musculoskeletal concerns, respiratory illnesses, digestive problems, and metabolic diseases. He is the CEO and co-founder of Evolve Medical, a Telehealth and coaching program that focuses on the prevention, treatment and reversal of prediabetes, and Type 2 diabetes mellitus. As a faculty member at the Pacific Rim College campus in Victoria, BC, Dr. Jaime teaches courses in Anatomy and Physiology, and Pharmacology. He is an engaging lecturer who enjoys creating dynamic and interactive lectures that blend academic and practical information together. While still a student at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine he worked for the research department there and subsequently for the University of Toronto Institute for Work and Health. His published research is in the area of botanical medicine with a focus on reporting quality guidelines. Dr. Jaime is an advocate for accessible integrative care. He is currently a supervisor for the Family Naturopathic Clinic, a teaching clinic providing free Naturopathic care to low income families. Dr. Jaime is a member of the British Columbia Naturopathic Association, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and is registered with the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia.

II. How to interpret tests that are assessed by by other means
• Breath tests

III. Know which tests are used to diagnose and monitor various common conditions including, but not limited to:
• Assessing and monitoring fatigue
• Hormone imbalances
• SIBO
• Hylicobater pylori
• Food allergies and intolerances
